  The Wait:

Sitting in an empty auditorium waiting for inspiration to move me.
  The Force:

I grab my favorite brush pen and let the ink spill where it will. During these moments, before the day, in the silence, I disappear into a timeless void and become lines, shapes, textures...

  Initial form:

baseline -- a brief cubic avalanche cascading into crumpled, well-preserved ribs.
  Expansion:

slide a tautly drawn tail -- curling nerves bubble along an undulating spine.
  Evolve:

sick limbs sprout -- thin and twisted, support the mammoth chordata...
  Goose Fresh:

loose flesh sags, drips over cubist pretense, flowing into stretched surrealistic elaboration -- spontaneous dog head and snout browns (with obligatory full dental infusion). Purpose manifests as a tongue drops from eyeless existence:
Proverbs 26:11
-- curly cue, an articulate tongue delicately, eloquently, skillfully whips the liquid laugh, taking tiny, tiny sips, tersely coiling with precision slurping translucent sinews -- lick lick, throat hack, chunks stick, chops suck and cut upchuck.
  Drive = Love:

forced motion within dead host echoes a more familiar reality: silent, focused, driven -- a slave to the past, consuming the present, loving the future.

  Now:

The Professor sings his tune: Sexual Selection and Phenotypic Plasticity -- the words resonate in my consciousness as I slice off the creature's twitching digits and place them several meters hence. Their deliberate arrangement serves contemplative inspiration as artistic subject matter, ironically symbolizing a parallel existence.
  Pay Attention (!):

Verse now surrounds you, substance beckons your attention, yet the sword rests while you pour another glass of wine...

  >>

Such implications stir aggression as the blade is embraced, severing the vital appendage as solution.

I watch breathlessly as the scene suddenly recycles itself: as if in utter defiance the limb takes its place upon a temporal hook -- beckoning the creation to embrace the tool whereby the expression originally occurred. Alas, I return to my experience to explore creativity until the presence of my creation evolves into an objectivity that inspires the completion of the present elaboration. After completion, the creation is explored and internalized as its memory becomes the motivation for future self-actualization through subconscious exploration via creative expression and subsequent critical analysis. I'm still not sure what the chopped-off fingers mean.
